Milly Grolnok by BurritoBoy

Format: Commander

Commander: Grolnok, the Omnivore

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Simic deck is helmed by Grolnok, the Omnivore, a self-mill value engine that turns attacking frogs into a stream of exiled permanents you can play from exile. The primary strategy marries a +1/+1 counters theme with landfall triggers to generate massive board presence and card advantage. The deck wins through Simic Ascendancy (20 growth counters), Twenty-Toed Toad (20 counters or 20 cards in hand), or overwhelming combat damage from hydras and token swarms. Grolnok enables explosive turns by milling lands and key pieces into exile, effectively giving you a second hand. The deck is built around high redundancy in counter-doubling effects and landfall draw engines, but it lacks a deep tutor suite, making its lines more reliant on natural draws and the commander's graveyard access.
