Cosmic Spider-Man by eblake0823

Format: Commander

Commander: Cosmic Spider-Man

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a fun-first, five-color Spider-Verse battlecruiser helmed by Cosmic Spider-Man. The plan is to flood the board with Spider creatures and Spider tokens, exploit web-slinging to cast overcosted legendaries cheaply, and turn the swarm sideways behind the commander's keyword anthem of flying, first strike, trample, lifelink, and haste. Tribal payoffs such as Kindred Discovery, Herald's Horn, Patchwork Banner, Wall Crawl, Spider-Ham, Peter Porker, and Coat of Arms supply the card flow and stats to make a wide board lethal. Madame Web, Clairvoyant, Web of Life and Destiny, and Earth's Mightiest Heroes provide a secondary top-deck cheating angle. There are no infinite combos; the deck wins through repeated combat damage, with Miles Morales // Ultimate Spider-Man doubling counters and Twitching Doll and Origin of Spider-Man generating critical mass.
