Deck overview

This Temur deck transforms low-cost, high-power creatures with severe drawbacks into devastating burn spells and card draw engines using Eshki, Temur's Roar. By deploying under-costed beaters such as Phyrexian Soulgorger, Cosmic Larva, and Force of Savagery for 1 to 3 mana, the deck circumvents their downsides by extracting immediate value on cast: placing +1/+1 counters on Eshki, refilling the hand, and dealing escalating noncombat damage to each opponent. Rapid ramp from dorks like Fanatic of Rhonas and Bloom Tender accelerates Eshki to the battlefield on Turn 2 or 3, leading to an explosive Turn 4 assembly and Turn 5 critical onset. Damage doublers like Solphim, Mayhem Dominus and cost-reducers like Goreclaw, Terror of Qal Sisma quickly amplify the burn output, while robust countermagic including Fierce Guardianship and Deflecting Swat shields the commander. The game concludes around Turn 7 through combined noncombat burn and overwhelming combat damage.
