Deck overview

This Dimir deck pairs Ghost of Ramirez DePietro and Francisco, Fowl Marauder to generate steady card advantage and graveyard fueling through evasive combat. Francisco's explore triggers filter cards into hand or the graveyard, while Ramirez retrieves discarded or milled cards upon dealing combat damage. The deck leverages this setup into two potent paths: an explosive infinite combo and a resilient reanimator package. The primary win condition combines Forensic Gadgeteer and Basalt Monolith, which reduces Basalt's untap cost to create infinite colorless mana on Turn 4, immediately closing the game with Walking Ballista. If combo pieces are disrupted, low-cost reanimation spells (Reanimate, Animate Dead) bring back high-impact threats like Archon of Cruelty to dominate the board. Supported by dense 2-CMC ramp, robust tutors, and flexible low-cost interaction, the deck maintains high velocity and smooth pivot capability throughout the midgame.
