Deck overview

This deck is a Simic engine combining graveyard flashback, exile casting, and self-mill combos under Doc Aurlock, Grizzled Genius. Doc Aurlock discounts spells cast from exile and the graveyard by two generic mana, accelerating value engines and combo execution. The deck primarily races toward a definitive self-mill victory using Mirror-Mad Phantasm to mill the library in a single activation, followed by flashing back Dryad's Revival at a discount to retrieve Thassa's Oracle or Laboratory Maniac for an immediate win on Turn 6. In addition, the deck integrates a Food Chain and Misthollow Griffin infinite mana engine, alongside a robust secondary plan centered on landfall stompy with Greensleeves, Maro-Sorcerer, Titania, Nature's Force, Lumra, Bellow of the Woods, and Overwhelming Stampede. A dense package of low-cost counterspells and spot removal protects setup turns, making the deck resilient, interactive, and capable of pivoting between combo finishes and overwhelming combat pressure.
