Deck overview

This deck is a classic Mono-Green Stompy strategy centered around Ghalta, Primal Hunger. The game plan accelerates mana on turns 1 and 2, quickly curves into over-statted creatures with 4 or more power on turn 3, and casts Ghalta for a discounted cost of {G}{G} by turn 4. Once assembled, the deck applies severe combat pressure starting on turn 5, leveraging trample and massive stats alongside power-doubling finishers like Overwhelming Stampede and Unnatural Growth. High creature power also drives powerful draw engines like Garruk's Uprising, Elemental Bond, and Rishkar's Expertise to maintain continuous hand velocity. The deck excels at fast creature deployment and overwhelming board size, but it is vulnerable to mass board wipes due to a low count of instant-speed team protection spells.
