Deck overview

This is a Grixis control-mill deck helmed by Lord Xander, the Collector, built to maximize his three devastating triggers - discard on entry, half-library mill on attack, and mass sacrifice on death. The primary plan is to deploy Xander and multiply his triggers through blink effects (Golden Argosy, Sword of Hearth and Home), token copies (Helm of the Host, Blade of Selves), and sacrifice synergies (Tergrid, God of Fright, Legate Lanius, Caesar's Ace). The deck's cleanest kill is the Syr Konrad, the Grim + Mindcrank infinite mill/damage loop, supported by a dense 20-counterspell suite and mill engines like Consuming Aberration, Mirko Vosk, Mind Drinker, and Mesmeric Orb. Life-loss doubling via Bloodletter of Aclazotz and Grievous Wound accelerates the clock. It plays a patient, interactive game that grinds opponents out through mill, discard, and sacrifice rather than fast combat.
