Deck overview

This deck is a Mono-White Midrange Pillowfort build helmed by Mangara, the Diplomat. The primary game plan focuses on establishing early tax and deterrent pieces like Authority of the Consuls, Blind Obedience, and Ghostly Prison to stifle fast combat aggression and disrupt opponent tempo. Once defensive fortifications are set, the deck deploys Mangara, the Diplomat alongside incremental draw engines such as Tocasia's Welcome and Firemane Commando to generate steady card advantage off opponents' standard game actions. The deck pivots into the mid-to-late game by creating evasive creature swarms with Archon of Sun's Grace and Champions from Beyond, pumping them with lifegain triggers from The Destined White Mage and +1/+1 counter engines, or granting evasion and lifelink via The Wind Crystal. High-tier reactive removal spells like Swords to Plowshares and Farewell clear problem permanents, while defensive spells like Clever Concealment and Flare of Fortitude ensure board integrity through victory on Turn 8.
