Deck overview

This Esper control deck operates as a stax-heavy combo build led by Sen Triplets. The primary game plan revolves around aggressively slowing down opposing game actions during early turns through pervasive tax and rule-setting permanents like Archon of Emeria, Drannith Magistrate, Rule of Law, and Back to Basics. These pieces restrict spell velocity, disable nonbasic mana bases, and shut down opposing commander access. Supported by persistent card advantage engines such as Rhystic Study, Mystic Remora, and Esper Sentinel, the deck steadily searches for its decisive win condition: the two-card combo of Thassa's Oracle and Demonic Consultation. Protected by Grand Abolisher, Teferi, Time Raveler, and Silence, the deck can exile its library and resolve Oracle's enters-the-battlefield trigger to win in a single turn without passing priority. Secondary lockouts through Stasis plus Unstoppable Plan or Drannith Magistrate plus Uba Mask provide resilient alternate routes to paralyze the table.
