Deck overview

This is an effectively five-color Phyrexian goodstuff deck, made legal by Valko Indorian's Rulebreaker ability, which opens the decklist to Phyrexian cards of any color identity and any basic lands. Valko's in-game role is modest - a 2/4 that grants every Phyrexian creature menace and lifelink - while the 99 does the heavy lifting: explosive artifact mana and rituals jump to early Praetors, and the K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth + Bolas's Citadel + Aetherflux Reservoir engine converts life directly into a storm kill. Combat is the steady clock, with lifelinking, menacing Phyrexians wearing down three opponents while Massacre Wurm and Sheoldred, the Apocalypse drain the table. Proliferate is a real sub-theme - Atraxa, Praetors' Voice, Tekuthal, Inquiry Dominus, and Ezuri, Stalker of Spheres turn poison and oil counters into a slow alternate axis. The MDFC Praetor sagas and recursion like Reanimate and Patriarch's Bidding give the pile strong staying power.
