Deck overview

This deck is an Esper spellslinger midrange build centered around Y'shtola, Night's Blessed. The strategy focuses on casting noncreature spells with mana value 3 or greater to simultaneously burn all opponents and gain life. Early turns are dedicated to establishing mana rocks such as Arcane Signet and Talisman of Progress before deploying Y'shtola on Turn 4. From there, the deck converts noncreature spells into wide boards of flying Bird and Hero tokens via Hermes, Overseer of Elpis and G'raha Tia, Scion Reborn. The card advantage engine thrives on Y'shtola's end-step trigger, which draws cards whenever 4 or more life is lost across the table, augmented by Archmage Emeritus and Alphinaud Leveilleur.
