Deck overview

This is an Izzet spellslinger deck helmed by Vivi Ornitier, a low-curve Wizard that turns every noncreature spell into a +1/+1 counter and a table-wide ping while converting its power into a once-per-turn burst of blue/red mana. The plan is to deploy cheap cantrips and cost-reducers, stack magecraft and "cast instant/sorcery" payoffs (Guttersnipe, Firebrand Archer, Archmage Emeritus, Exalted Flamer of Tzeentch), then convert the accumulated mana and storm count into a lethal Crackle with Power, Chandra's Ignition on a huge body, or a Thousand-Year Storm / Arcane Bombardment turn. Secondary axes include Drake/Dragon token swarms from Talrand, Sky Summoner and Rite of the Dragoncaller, plus Niv-Mizzet, Visionary turning noncombat damage into raw card flow. The deck wins through ping attrition and oversized red X-spells rather than a tight infinite, with a dense instant-speed interaction suite keeping the table honest while it digs.
