Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis Pirate Tribal Aggro-Reanimator strategy commanded by Admiral Brass, Unsinkable. The primary game plan begins by curving out efficient Pirate threats and mana rocks during the early turns, while filtering the hand and loading the graveyard through looting effects like Faithless Looting and self-mill. On Turn 5, casting Admiral Brass, Unsinkable mills additional cards and reanimates a key Pirate creature from the graveyard as a 4/4 with haste at the beginning of combat. The deck leverages high-impact reanimation targets such as Angrath's Marauders, Port Razer, and Coercive Recruiter alongside anthems like Shared Animosity to deal explosive combat damage across the table. Supported by card draw engines like Bident of Thassa and The Indomitable, the deck maintains steady pressure while using theft effects and mass recursion spells like Patriarch's Bidding to rebuild and close out the game by Turn 7.
