Deck overview

This Orzhov deck focuses on generating wide token armies through combat triggers and capitalizing on them with sacrifice drains, anthems, and enter-the-battlefield triggers. Led by Naomi, Pillar of Order, the deck leverages artifact and enchantment synergies to continuously produce 2/2 Samurai tokens with vigilance. The 99 includes premier token creators like Adeline, Resplendent Cathar, Hero of Bladehold, and Myrel, Shield of Argive, paired with doubling effects such as Mondrak, Glory Dominus, Anointed Procession, and Ojer Taq, Deepest Foundation. Aristocrat payoffs including Mirkwood Bats, Corpse Knight, and Cruel Celebrant convert token creation and creature deaths into substantial table-wide life loss. Supported by efficient removal spells, defensive shields like Teferi's Protection, and game-ending overruns such as Moonshaker Cavalry and Cathars' Crusade, the deck builds resilient board states that grind through mid-game combat and punish opponents with unavoidable incremental drain.
