Format: Commander

Commander: Kefka, Court Mage // Kefka, Ruler of Ruin

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Grixis spellslinger deck that uses Kefka's command-zone draw engine to turn cheap instants and sorceries into table-wide burn. The front side, Kefka, Court Mage, refuels on entry and attack with a group-discard effect that draws by card type; the back side, Kefka, Ruler of Ruin, turns every opponent life loss into cards, so the burn plan becomes its own card-draw engine. The 99 is a low-curve Wizard/Shaman shell: Guttersnipe, Kessig Flamebreather, Coruscation Mage, Black Waltz No. 3, and token-wizard pings convert each spell into damage to all opponents. Force multipliers like Harmonic Prodigy, Veyran, Voice of Duality, and Roaming Throne compound those triggers, while Kuja, Genome Sorcerer and Collective Inferno can double Wizard damage. There are no intentional infinite combos; the deck wins through incremental drain and one big mid-game spell chain.
