Manny's Markov by Evadker

Format: Commander

Commander: Edgar Markov

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is an aggressive Mardu Vampire tribal deck helmed by Edgar Markov, leveraging his eminence ability to flood the board with 1/1 vampire tokens every time a vampire spell is cast. The strategy is to deploy a dense swarm of vampires, pump them with anthem effects like Adaptive Automaton, Captivating Vampire, and Stromkirk Captain, and close out games through overwhelming combat damage or the infinite drain combo between Bloodthirsty Conqueror and Sanguine Bond/Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose. The deck also generates value through Blood tokens (Voldaren Epicure, Bloodtithe Harvester), sacrificing them for card selection or fueling synergies like Wedding Security. Edgar himself provides first strike and haste, and his attack trigger puts +1/+1 counters on the whole team, accelerating the clock. While it lacks instant-speed interaction and dedicated tutors, the sheer redundancy of vampires and drain effects ensures consistent pressure, though the deck is vulnerable to board wipes and graveyard hate.
