4.1 - PaKing by Jodlao171989

Format: Commander

Commander: Pako, Arcane Retriever and Haldan, Avid Arcanist

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a Temur tempo-combo deck built around Pako, Arcane Retriever. The primary plan is to accelerate into Pako, attack with haste to exile cards and grow him, then deploy Haldan to cast exiled noncreature spells-especially extra turns and extra combats-to chain Pako attacks for 21 commander damage. Secondary paths include an Underworld Breach + Lion's Eye Diamond + Wheel of Fortune engine and a Seasons Past extra-turn loop. Narset, wheels, and heavy countermagic protect the pair and provide card selection. The deck is built to use Pako as the face; Haldan is the enabling support piece.
