Mutant mayhem by user9078707

Format: Commander

Commander: Wolverine, Claws Out

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Wolverine, Claws Out leads a mono-green Mutant +1/+1 counter deck. The plan is to ramp, land Wolverine, then put multiple counters and pump effects on attacking Mutants so Wolverine's doubling turns modest boosts into lethal damage. No hidden commander: the 99 is built around Wolverine as the damage engine, with Colossus, Steel Stalwart and Michelangelo as support. Secondary paths include an enormous Groundchuck & Dirtbag mana engine, Natural Order into Archetype of Endurance, and a counter/token package that can overpower without the commander, though slower. The deck finishes by combat damage, usually with a mass pump such as Strength of the Pack or Monstrous Step.
