Deck overview

Jace, Multiverse Architect commands a four-color control deck designed to exploit polymorph mechanics. By combining low-cost noncreature token generators like Skrelv's Hive, Dreadhorde Invasion, and Staff of the Storyteller with dense two-mana ramp, the deck rapidly establishes its engine. On turn 4, Jace enters and uses his minus three ability to transform a token into an overwhelming creature threat from the 99, including Archon of Cruelty, Serra's Emissary, Archfiend of Despair, and Darksteel Angel. Backup mass-polymorph spells like Mass Polymorph and Synthetic Destiny allow sudden multi-threat deployments. A robust removal suite of efficient spot exile and wrath effects controls the tempo, while evasive flyers close the game over successive combat steps.
