Y'Shtola, Night's Blessed by Tapion1981

Format: Commander

Commander: Y'shtola, Night's Blessed

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Y'shtola, Night's Blessed leads an Esper control-drain deck that wins by incremental life loss, not a fast infinite combo. Y'shtola draws a card each end step a player lost 4+ life and drains each opponent for 2 and gains 2 whenever you cast a noncreature spell of mana value 3 or greater. The deck layers supporting pingers - Kambal, Papalymo Totolymo, Queza, Sheoldred, Bloodchief Ascension, Orcish Bowmasters - with heavy draw and counters to keep casting. Torment of Hailfire is the clean finisher when attrition is too slow. Queza, Augur of Agonies and Sheoldred, the Apocalypse act as hidden commanders, turning every draw into damage, while Narset, Parter of Veils locks opponents out.
