Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Izzet spellslinger and burn strategy commanded by Vivi Ornitier. The game plan centers on deploying Vivi early and leveraging cheap cantrips, burn spells, and rituals to simultaneously grow Vivi's power, generate massive mana via its {0} activated ability, and deal escalating noncombat damage to all opponents. The deck features tight synergy with Wizard triggers like Harmonic Prodigy and Wizard's Staff, which double Vivi's triggers to rapidly accelerate damage output. A dense suite of low-cost countermagic and protection spells such as Dive Down and Clout of the Dominus keeps Vivi alive while advancing the storm count. If the primary burn plan is stalled, the deck transitions into alternative win conditions including Crackling Drake, mass board wipes via Chandra's Ignition, or the compact infinite combo of Niv-Mizzet, Parun and Curiosity.
