Deck overview

This Grixis deck uses Sauron, Lord of the Rings as a late-game reanimator to cheat large Dragons and value creatures from the graveyard, then wins through hasted combat and extra combat phases. You mill and discard to stock the yard with Anger, Wonder, and big threats, ramp with Treasures and mana rocks, and reanimate with Sauron, Reanimate, Victimize, and Living Death. Secondary paths use Treasure generation from Goldspan Dragon and Cavern-Hoard Dragon and free spells from Etali and Diviner of Mist. Saruman, the White Hand and Etali act as hidden engines that can take over if Sauron is unavailable.
