Deck overview

This mono-blue combo-control deck leverages Orvar, the All-Form to turn cheap, targeted instants and sorceries into rapid board-cloning effects. By targeting its own lands and artifacts in the early game with 1-mana spells like Twiddle and Whim of Volrath, the deck accelerates mana velocity and establishes a commanding board state. In the mid-game, it pivots to copying high-impact permanents such as Peregrine Drake, Coveted Jewel, Perplexing Chimera, and Agent of Treachery. Buyback spells allow the deck to generate infinite mana and draw through the entire library, culminating in stealing every permanent controlled by opponents. A rich suite of dual-purpose protection spells grants hexproof while simultaneously triggering token duplication, ensuring that interaction from opponents often accelerates the deck's own victory condition.
