Deck overview

This is a mono-black aristocrats sacrifice deck helmed by Sephiroth, Fabled SOLDIER // Sephiroth, One-Winged Angel. The core plan floods the board with fodder tokens and recursive creatures, then converts deaths into card advantage, treasures, and life drain via a dense suite of Blood Artist effects. Sephiroth accelerates this by drawing on ETB/attack sacrifices and draining on every death, transforming into a flying value engine with an emblem once four drains resolve in a turn. Primary wins come from infinite sacrifice loops that drain the table, Exquisite Blood + lifegain payoffs, and big mana X-spells like Torment of Hailfire or Exsanguinate. Secondary paths include Bolas's Citadel storms, Repay in Kind after self-drain, and combat with oversized threats. The deck thrives on attrition and inevitability rather than a single fragile combo.
