Deck overview

This is a mono-black attrition and aristocrats deck helmed by Syr Konrad, the Grim. The primary plan is to flood the board with disposable creatures and tokens, force repeated death events, mill creature cards, and recur them so that Konrad's triggered ability drains the table. A dense discard suite (Duress, Hopeless Nightmare, Hecteyes, Aclazotz, Deepest Betrayal, Malboro) strips opposing hands while sacrifice outlets and edicts (Plaguecrafter, Tithing Blade, Gaius van Baelsar, Phyrexian Ghoul) keep bodies moving through the graveyard. Secondary paths include incremental life-drain engines (Al Bhed Salvagers, Acolyte of Aclazotz, Ninja Teen), combat pressure from menace and deathtouch threats, and the alternate-win lore chapter on Summon: Primal Odin.
