Format: Commander

Commander: Pantlaza, Sun-Favored

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Pantlaza, Sun-Favored is the engine and payoff of an aggressive Naya Dinosaur deck. The primary plan is to ramp into Pantlaza by turn 3, then use its once-per-turn discover trigger to chain high-toughness dinosaurs into free spells while attacking with trample and haste. Secondary paths include cheating extra fatties with Sneak Attack and Smuggler's Surprise, and tutoring with Savage Order or Finale of Devastation. Etali, Primal Storm and Ghalta, Stampede Tyrant are the main payoffs, but there is no hidden commander. The deck has no infinite combo; it wins through repeated combat, usually after a Ghalta dump or a Finale overrun.
