Deck overview

This deck is a Jeskai combo-midrange build led by Malcolm, Keen-Eyed Navigator and Bruse Tarl, Boorish Herder. Its primary strategy centers on assembling a compact two-card infinite combo between Malcolm and Glint-Horn Buccaneer. Because Glint-Horn is natively a Pirate with haste, attacking with it and paying two mana triggers an infinite loop: discarding and drawing deals 1 damage to each opponent, which causes Malcolm to create three Treasure tokens to repeatedly fund further activations until all opponents are eliminated. Alongside this fast finish, the deck features a resilient damage-redirection package using creatures like Boros Reckoner, Brash Taunter, and Phyrexian Vindicator paired with heavy damage sweepers such as Blasphemous Act. Robust stack protection, including free spells like Fierce Guardianship and Deflecting Swat, shields the combo from disruption, while efficient card draw engines like Rhystic Study and Esper Sentinel keep resources flowing throughout the match.
