Deck overview

This is a mono-blue mill-control deck helmed by Princess Yue, who provides a repeatable scry 2 in the command zone and, crucially, transforms into a land named Moon when she dies - a built-in resilience trick that keeps her relevant even after removal. The primary game plan is to mill all three opponents out through landfall crabs (Hedron Crab, Ruin Crab), ETB-trigger mill (Altar of the Brood, Sage's Row Denizen), and the amplifying The Water Crystal. A dense clone package (Clever Impersonator, Phyrexian Metamorph, Stunt Double, and friends) provides redundancy by copying the best mill engine or the table's strongest threat. Secondary wins include self-mill into Jace, Wielder of Mysteries and infinite loops built around Cloudstone Curio, the sacrifice altars, and Starfield Vocalist doubling triggers. The deck plays a patient, interactive game, stalling with bounce wipes and Propaganda while it assembles its mill engine.
