Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy Grixis midrange build centered around Norman Osborn // Green Goblin, leveraging discard and graveyard mechanics to cheat high-cost Villain threats into play ahead of curve. Early turns focus on deploying Norman Osborn to connive unblocked, sculpting the hand and stocking the graveyard. Once transformed into Green Goblin on Turn 4, all discarded nonland cards gain Mayhem with a static two-mana discount, turning every looting spell and connive trigger into explosive mana velocity. The deck quickly floods the board with terrifying threats like The Squadron Sinister, Abomination, World Ravager, and Doctor Doom, while controlling opposing boards through asymmetric -1/-1 counter distribution from Archfiend of Ifnir and M.O.D.O.K.. With continuous card flow supplied by Doctor Octopus, Master Planner and River Kelpie, the deck overwhelms the table with evasive flying and menace combat damage over two decisive combat rotations.
