Deck overview

This mono-black deck turns The Master of Lake-town's life-loss-mill trigger into a self-replacing drain/mill machine. The primary plan is to assemble Bloodchief Ascension with Mindcrank: once Ascension has three quest counters, any opponent life loss mills cards, and each milled card drains 2 life, cascading through libraries. Secondary paths are Bloodthirsty Conqueror plus Aetherflux Reservoir for repeated 50-life activations, and mass-reanimation/X-spell wins via Living Death, Rise of the Dark Realms, and Exsanguinate. K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth functions as a pseudo-commander mana engine. The commander also draws a card for each full graveyard when it dies, making it a draw engine as well.
