Deck overview

This deck pairs Nashi, Searcher in the Dark with a Dimir enchantress and discard shell. Instead of racing toward infinite combos, the strategy focuses on steady card advantage, board suppression, and incremental life loss. Nashi enters on Turn 2 and uses built-in menace to connect on Turn 3, digging through the library to stock the hand with enchantments and legendary permanents. As the game develops, low-cost auras like Witness Protection and Amphibian Downpour lock down opposing threats while triggering eerie and constellation abilities from Entity Tracker and Grim Guardian. In the mid game, asymmetric hand disruption from Oppression, Bandit's Talent, and Mindslicer chokes opposing resources while Waste Not converts discards into mana, bodies, and fresh cards. Opponents are steadily worn down through punishing taxes like Painful Quandary and unblockable combat pressure.
