Deck overview

This Golgari deck is led by Blech, Loafing Pest, turning life gain triggers into +1/+1 counters across Pests, Bats, Insects, Snakes, and Spiders. The deck curves low-cost kindred creatures into repeatable life gain enablers such as Teacher's Pest, Black Market Connections, and Tablet of the Guilds. As the board develops, token generators like Beledros Witherbloom, Scute Swarm, and Pest Infestation generate broad armies that scale exponentially with counter multipliers like Branching Evolution and The Earth Crystal. Card flow engines like Sylvan Library, The One Ring, and Greed convert excess life into cards. The deck closes games around Turn 6 to 7 using combat overrun effects from Blossoming Bogbeast, trample from Duskshell Crawler, or continuous attrition from Sheoldred, the Apocalypse and Polluted Bonds.
