Deck overview

This deck is an Azorius Blink and Token-Copy strategy commanded by Niko, Light of Hope. The game plan revolves around generating Shard enchantment tokens upon Niko's entry and leveraging Niko's activated ability to transform those Shards into copies of high-impact nonlegendary creatures. Because Shard tokens already in play do not have summoning sickness as creatures, they can immediately attack as copies of potent threats such as Overlord of the Mistmoors, Hero of Bladehold, or Sludge Monster. Meanwhile, dedicated blink engines like Soulherder, Teleportation Circle, and Brago, King Eternal repeatedly re-trigger Niko to amass Shards and cycle value through ETB creatures like Cloudblazer and Aether Channeler. The deck protects its board through efficient countermagic and instant-speed blink spells like Ghostway and Eerie Interlude. With resilient token armies and robust card flow, it overwhelms opponents through compounding combat pressure and versatile board control.
