Deck overview

This deck is a Rakdos combat control and attrition strategy commanded by Seifer, Balamb Rival. The game plan revolves around deploying evasive menace creatures in the early turns, establishing Seifer to goad high-value opposing blockers, and granting deathtouch to force disastrous multi-blocks. In the midgame, global goad engines like Disrupt Decorum, Kardur, Doomscourge, and Rite of the Raging Storm force opponents to batter each other while taking collateral damage from Battle Strain and Vengeful Ancestor. Meanwhile, cards like Bothersome Quasit prevent goaded creatures from blocking, opening wide attack lanes for your own attackers. Payoffs like Professional Face-Breaker and Massacre Girl, Known Killer translate combat chaos into steady card and mana advantage, whittling the table down until Vincent, Vengeful Atoner or Alexios, Deimos of Kosmos can finish off the surviving players.
