Deck overview

This is a Veyran spellslinger deck built to cast or copy many instants and sorceries in one turn. Veyran doubles the triggered abilities of all burn and token permanents, making Guttersnipe or Firebrand Archer lethal once Thousand-Year Storm is on the battlefield. The deck's hidden commander is Thousand-Year Storm: it turns a handful of cheap spells into 21 or more spell events and enables the Narset's Reversal + Storm-Kiln Artist loop. Secondary plans are Arcane Bombardment value, Young Pyromancer/Talrand token swarms, and commander damage via Rogue's Passage. The deck is powerful on a critical turn but linear, vulnerable to removal, and lacks premium tutors.
