Deck overview

This deck is a tuned competitive Golgari combo list helmed by The Gitrog Monster. The primary game plan revolves around assembling the commander alongside a free discard outlet such as Putrid Imp, Noose Constrictor, Oblivion Crown, or Iron-Shield Elf, and the dredge land Dakmor Salvage. Discarding Dakmor Salvage triggers Gitrog to draw a card, which is replaced by dredging Dakmor. Whenever a land is milled, Gitrog generates an additional draw trigger, allowing the pilot to dredge through the entire library while Gaea's Blessing reshuffles the graveyard. Once the deck is drawn, the pilot generates infinite mana with fast mana cards and closes the game on Turn 4 at instant speed using Ebony Charm life drain or Sunscorched Desert land triggers. The deck is supported by a dense tutor network, efficient mana ramp, targeted discard, and potent protection spells like Veil of Summer.
