Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis Rat tribal aristocrats and burn strategy helmed by Wick, the Whorled Mind. The game plan revolves around rapidly populating the board with low-cost Rat creatures to continuously grow a Snail token created by Wick. Once the Snail reaches substantial size, Wick's activated ability sacrifices it to deal direct damage to each opponent while drawing an equal number of cards to replenish resources. The deck supplements this core engine with wide board multipliers like Ashcoat of the Shadow Swarm, Marrow-Gnawer, and Plague of Vermin, alongside potent entry/drain effects like Purphoros, God of the Forge, Impact Tremors, and Mirkwood Bats. It also features an infinite token and burn loop via Marrow-Gnawer equipped with Thornbite Staff.
