Deck overview

Celes, Rune Knight anchors a tightly-built Mardu combo engine that leverages her ETB looting and the +1/+1 counter trigger on reanimated creatures to fuel persist loops. The deck is a high-speed graveyard-centric strategy, using a dense suite of rituals, fast mana, and tutors to assemble one of multiple infinite combos by turn 4-5. Primary wins come from looping Murderous Redcap or Putrid Goblin with a sacrifice outlet (Altar of Dementia, Goblin Bombardment) while Celes cancels the -1/-1 counters, or from Dualcaster Mage + Twinflame/Molten Duplication for infinite hasty tokens. Underworld Breach provides additional recursion and can enable Grinding Station loops. Protection from stack/hate pieces (Silence, Grand Abolisher, Voice of Victory) secures the killing turn. The commander is both a card-flow engine and an enabler for the persist line, but the deck has enough independent combos to function without her, albeit at reduced speed.
