Deck overview

This deck is an Esper combo-control deck built around the potent synergy between Tivit, Seller of Secrets and Time Sieve. Tivit's Council's dilemma trigger guarantees the creation of five artifact tokens upon entering the battlefield or connecting in combat. By sacrificing five artifacts to Time Sieve, the deck takes an extra turn, attacks with Tivit to generate five replacement tokens, and loops indefinitely until the table is eliminated through commander damage. The 99 is tailored to support this game plan using an extensive suite of 2-CMC transmuters and artifact tutors to ensure rapid access to Time Sieve. To ensure survival until Tivit lands, the deck employs pillowfort pieces such as Propaganda and Blind Obedience, broad board sweepers, and over a dozen counterspells. While reliant on a single artifact piece to win on the spot, redundancy in tutors and graveyard recursion provides resilience against disruption.
