Format: Commander

Commander: Auntie Ool, Cursewretch

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This deck is a -1/-1 counter synergy strategy helmed by Auntie Ool, Cursewretch, using the commander's draw and life-loss triggers to fuel a grindy value engine. The primary game plan involves spreading -1/-1 counters through creatures like Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons, Soul Snuffers, and Black Sun's Zenith, then leveraging persist/undying loops (Murderous Redcap + Mikaeus, the Unhallowed + Goblin Bombardment) for infinite damage. Secondary win conditions include combat damage from Kulrath Knight locking down opponents, All Will Be One burning from proliferate, and The Scorpion God generating card advantage. The deck lacks tutors, so it relies on natural draws and the commander's card flow to assemble its combos, making it a mid-speed value-control deck.
