Deck overview

This deck is a high-powered 5-color tribal control strategy built around Reaper King. By combining low-cost Changelings, Scarecrows, and cheap blink spells, the deck turns every creature entry into a targeted permanent destruction trigger. A perfectly optimized mana base composed of original dual lands, shock lands, and triomes ensures consistent five-color access by Turn 4 or 5. Once Reaper King is established, trigger doublers such as Panharmonicon, Roaming Throne, and Elesh Norn, Mother of Machines accelerate the attrition rate into full land denial, dismantling opposing strategies before they can develop. The deck is shielded by format-ceiling free countermagic, hexproof equipment, and instant-speed phase/blink spells. Alternate win conditions include an upkeep victory with Liliana's Contract (treating all Changelings as Demons), direct table-wide burn from Purphoros, God of the Forge, and the devastating 25-trigger resolution of a kicked Rite of Replication.
