Iron-Man by baum202

Format: Commander

Commander: Iron Man, Titan of Innovation

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is an Izzet artifact-value deck built around Iron Man, Titan of Innovation as a repeatable battlefield tutor. The deck's core plan is to attack with Iron Man each turn: make a Treasure, sacrifice a noncreature artifact, and search for the next-higher-mana-value artifact. That chain starts at Treasure and runs through anthems, Mana Rocks, Iron Man Armor, Foundry Inspector, Mystic Forge, and Cosmic Cube. Secondary draw engines such as Chimil the Inner Sun, the Ten Rings, and Jin-Gitaxias, Progress Tyrant create huge late turns. The finish is usually an unblockable large artifact attack or a giant Call Forth the Tempest copied by Jin-Gitaxias. There is no double-faced or hidden alternate commander; the deck is built around Iron Man's attack trigger.
