Fynn $300 by Octopuspanda

Format: Commander

Commander: Fynn, the Fangbearer

Bracket: 3

DeckCheck Threat Index: 43

Deck overview

This deck leverages Fynn, the Fangbearer to turn inexpensive deathtouch creatures into lethal poison threats. By dealing two poison counters whenever a deathtouch creature connects with a player, the deck cuts the required combat threshold from 40 life to just 10 poison counters per opponent. The game plan opens with 1-mana and 2-mana deathtouch creatures deployed before Fynn hits the battlefield on Turn 2. As combat steps distribute initial poison counters, mid-game threats like Bloated Contaminator and Evolution Sage accelerate the clock through proliferation. Card advantage engines such as Toski, Bearer of Secrets and Ohran Frostfang keep resources flowing while trample and unblockability push damage past blockers. While vulnerable to board wipes and targeted commander removal, low mana costs and heavy redundancy allow quick recovery.
