Deck overview

This is a Selesnya lifegain-counters midrange deck helmed by Lathiel, the Bounteous Dawn. The plan is to flood the board with small creatures and soul-sister effects, convert steady life gain into +1/+1 counters via Lathiel and support engines, then close through oversized combat. A light Cats/Unicorns subtheme (Regal Caracal, Leonin Warleader, Pride Sovereign, Emiel the Blessed) supplies tokens and lords, while Cathars' Crusade, Felidar Retreat, and Sovereign Okinec Ahau multiply the counter plan. Primary wins are go-wide combat (often capped by Pathbreaker Ibex or Akroma's Will) and a Famished Paladin + Presence of Gond infinite with any soul sister, frequently cashed in through Aetherflux Reservoir. The deck plays as a resilient value board that snowballs once life is being gained every turn.
