K'rrik, salvati almeno tu! by andy_vi

Format: Commander

Commander: K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a mono-black combo-storm deck built around K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth, who converts life into black mana at a steep discount on the hybrid pips. The primary game plan is to deploy K'rrik early, then use the life-as-mana engine to chain cheap rituals, tutors, and draw spells into one of several compact win conditions: a storm kill via Tendrils of Agony, a massive devotion drain with Gray Merchant of Asphodel, or the Necrotic Ooze / Asmodeus the Archfiend / Skirge Familiar infinite-mana loop. The deck packs an unusually high number of tutors for its raw draw suite, giving it remarkable consistency in finding the right pieces despite limited card-flow engines.
