Deck overview

This Boros Equipment Voltron deck utilizes the partner pairing of Ardenn, Intrepid Archaeologist and Rograkh, Son of Rohgahh to execute an aggressive, highly focused commander damage strategy. Rograkh enters on Turn 1 for zero mana, providing an immediate evasive attacker with first strike, menace, and trample. Ardenn enters on Turn 3 and bypasses all equip costs by attaching all Equipment and Auras directly to Rograkh at the beginning of combat. High-stat equipment like Colossus Hammer, Blackblade Reforged, and Hulkbuster Armor transforms Rograkh into an immediate lethal threat on Turn 3. The deck leverages redundant equip engines, tutors, and protection pieces such as Lightning Greaves, Hammer of Nazahn, and Boros Charm to shield its attackers from spot removal. While the deck applies blistering single-target pressure, winning the table requires sequential attacks across multiple response cycles unless accelerated by Kediss, Emberclaw Familiar. Its main vulnerabilities are mass exile sweepers and early commander disruption.
