Bolazoms by Logrith

Format: Commander

Commander: Nicol Bolas, the Ravager // Nicol Bolas, the Arisen

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Grixis amass/zombie build that grows one Army token with repeated amass triggers, surrounds it with tribal lords, and converts zombie deaths and tokens into cards and damage. Nicol Bolas, the Ravager is a cheap hand-disruption commander and flying attacker; the deck is built around that front face, while Nicol Bolas, the Arisen is a bonus draw/removal/reanimation engine when the 7-mana flip is affordable. Secondary paths include Wilhelt, the Rotcleaver as the hidden commander in the 99, Sauron and Liliana card advantage, Mirkwood Bats attrition, and Army of the Damned as a burst finisher. The deck wins by outvaluing in combat, not by a compact combo.
