Deck overview

This deck is a Mono-Black Zombie Tribal and Aristocrats strategy commanded by Ghoulcaller Gisa. The primary game plan develops early Zombie creatures and mana ramp, casts Gisa on Turn 4 or 5, and uses her sacrifice ability to convert tall creatures into a wide swarm of 2/2 Zombie tokens. On Turn 6, the deck achieves critical onset by layering anthem lords like Undead Warchief and Death Baron or dropping high-impact bombs like Grave Titan and Gray Merchant of Asphodel. This establishes an overwhelming combat board that closes out opponents over two subsequent turn cycles by Turn 8. While the deck boasts strong functional redundancy, steady card draw through death triggers, and asymmetric creature wiping via Noxious Ghoul, it remains vulnerable to sweepers and targeted removal due to a lack of instant-speed stack protection and haste enablers.
