Commander: Norman Osborn // Green Goblin

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Grixis (U/B/R) deck is a graveyard-value midrange strategy helmed by the transform commander Norman Osborn // Green Goblin. The front side Norman Osborn is an unblockable 1/1 that connives on combat damage, filling the graveyard while growing itself. Once transformed, Green Goblin gains flying, menace, and reduces the cost of spells cast from your graveyard by {2}, while also granting every nonland card in your graveyard a mayhem cost equal to its mana cost - allowing you to cast discarded cards from the yard. The deck is built around discard outlets, loot spells, and connive triggers to stock the graveyard, then uses the commander's cost reduction and mayhem to generate repeated value. Win conditions are incremental: evasive combat damage from the commander and other creatures like Spider-Man Noir and Scourging Skyray, along with direct damage from Monument to Endurance and burn spells. There are no infinite combos; the deck wins through gradual attrition.
