Deck overview

This deck is an Esper reanimator and discard-synergy strategy commanded by Hashaton, Scarab's Fist. Hashaton turns every discarded creature card into a 4/4 Zombie token copy for {2}{U}, allowing the deck to bypass the massive mana costs of game-warping Praetors, Eldrazi, and Archons as early as Turn 4. Dense free discard outlets such as Putrid Imp, Psychic Frog, and Tireless Tribe ensure you can bin high-impact targets at will, while premier reanimation spells like Reanimate and Animate Dead provide redundant access to the graveyard. Once established, oppressive threats like Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur, Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite, and Void Winnower strip opposing resources and lock down the board, allowing an army of 4/4 token copies to close out the game through combat damage over subsequent turns.
